Transformers Jet Fighter - Aside from their leader, the main villains during the first Generation 1 series in 1984 were the Decepticon Jets. As one of the Jets, the Skywarp transforms into a McDonnel-Douglass F-15C Eagle fighter jet.
Skywarp, like most Decepticons, comes from Takara's 1983 Diaclone toy Jet Robo F-15 Eagle, which comes in two flavors: the Acrobat Type, whose deco is inspired by Thundercracker, and the Ultra-High-Speed which will later become the star show. These models include a small plastic driver and death sprayer that can be placed in the cockpit, and a lot of stickers with "F-15" removed from the Transformers display. Skywarp's coloring is unusual, as with most Decepticon Jets (also known as "jets" due to periodical advertisements), as he is primarily molded in black plastic. His hands, feet, and fists are modeled in bright purple, and visual interest is added by the purple stripes on his wings and control surfaces, as well as his aircraft pen. Its jet design also features a bright orange, open canopy and non-removable metal landing gear. Front landing gear can be loaded in flight or transition. Its wings and rudder are separate parts that are attached to the cable, and the blue crane attaches to the poles. The launchers are attached to the lower wings, which can carry ballistic missiles or explosive barrels. The wide stance of the Skywarp's rudders, elevator, and tripod legs make it incredibly stable in robot form. His wings are turned towards the center line, with the lower edge down, so that his hands do not interfere. His small black painted face can be emphasized with golden eye patches, which run like a band on his head, covering many of his details. Interestingly, the eye sticker has a black line indicating where his eyes are etched below. The cast iron planes carry holes in each wing, with detailed robot stickers attached. Stickers on his chest, knees and feet add more detail to his robot style.

Skywarp's main body is very strong and rarely breaks. However, the shaft that moves the nose section into place is hinged, causing his head and chest to tilt back slightly in a robotic manner. The number of accessories added means that only a small percentage of the original Skywarps are available at all.
Like previous Diaclone toys, Skywarp had several unique changes in its first year of production. It was re-released in Japan as part of Transformers Encore in 2008

Another great place! The simplicity of the part is amazing. The details are also good. I love the wheels and tires that come with it. The engine could be better but it's not great. My biggest problem is the construction of the bed. I will be buying many more!!
